Mrs. Ruby Ridley, of Gallatin, Tennessee passed away on Thursday, February 24, 2022, she was 85 years old.
She was born on April 29, 1936 to the late William McKinnley and Lillian Mae Gant.
Along with her parents, she is preceded in death by one son, Randy Ridley; six brothers; and one sister.
Ruby enjoyed spending her time doing needlework, like crocheting and cross-stitching. She also enjoyed playing games with her family, with her favorite being Dominos and UNO. She was also a clerk at Vanity Shop. She also enjoyed collecting dolls and handkerchiefs. She was a loving wife, mother, grandmother, sister, and friend to many and will be truly missed.
Ruby is survived by her husband of 68 years, Mr. Curtis Ridley; daughter, Brenda (Athel) Blankenship; two granddaughters, Holly Blankenship and Christina (Barney) Katzerman; daughter in law, Cindy Ridley; and two sisters, Vera Faye Bridges, and Louise Farmer.
A life celebration will be held at 1pm, Monday, February 28th in the chapel of Crestview Funeral Home with burial in Crestview Memory Gardens. Family will receive friends from 11 am-1 pm on Monday prior to the service. https://www.crestviewfh.com
