Ruby Jean Pike passed away on Wednesday, July 27, 2022, in Hendersonville, Tennessee, she was 81 years old.
Ruby Jean was born on November 2, 1940 in Nashville, TN to the late William Jay Marlin and Ruby DeMoss Marlin.
Ruby is survived by her sister Patsy Jo (John) Bass; her son Mark (Tracy) Pike; grandchildren Neeley Pike, Katelyn Castilon, Kristen Castilon, Zachary Pike, and Victoria Pike; daughter-in-law Maria Pike; great-grandchildren Graham William and Natalie Grace.
She is preceded in death by her husband of 62 years, William Pike; son William “Bill” Pike Jr.; sisters Sherrill Garner and Sara Ann Crocket; brother William “Bill” Marlin.
Ruby was a graduate of Madison Highschool and married the love of her life in 1960. Together they raised 2 boys and spent their time camping, fishing, and playing sports. Ruby’s life was centered around her beloved grandchildren and great-grandchildren. In 2020 she moved into NHC Hendersonville where she found great friends in the staff and residents. She loved shopping, coloring, and especially crocheting gifts for those around her.
Ruby was loved and cherished by everyone who knew her.
A service honoring the lives of William and Ruby will be held at a later date.
