Ronnie Nichols, age 65 of Gallatin, passed away Saturday, September 11, 2021.

Funeral Service will be Tuesday, September 14th at 1:00 p.m. in the chapel of Family Heritage Funeral Home, with Pastor James Newsome officiating. Visitation will be Monday, September 13th from 2:00 – 8:00 p.m. and Tuesday, September 14th from 11:00 a.m. until time of service at 1:00 p.m. Interment will follow the service at Sumner Memorial Gardens, with Andrew McCullough, Alex McCullough, Mark Nichols, Kendle Fuqua, Brandon Reed, Paul Williams, Ronnie Lance, James Wilson, Nathan Hancock, and Evan Hickson serving as pallbearers.

In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to the American Parkinson Disease Association, 135 Parkinson Avenue, Staten Island, NY 10305.

Mr. Nichols was born on February 23, 1956 in Sandusky, Ohio. He is preceded in death by father, Doris Herbert Nichols; and sister, Kim Miller.

He is survived by wife, Lydia Russell Nichols of Gallatin, TN; mother, Dorothy Sue Goosetree Clement of Camden, TN; children, Lindy Barber (David) of Flintville, TN, Christopher Nichols of Camden, TN, Jennifer Thomas of Franklin, KY, and Stacey McCullough (Bubba) of Gallatin, TN; brothers, Steve Nichols (Rachel) of Dickson, TN and Gary Price (Jan) of Johnson City, TN; sisters, Dorothy Wiseman (Luther) of Camden, TN, Donna Jackson (Donald) of Camden, TN, and Sandy Williams (Paul) of Paris, TN; 16 grandchildren, Allison Stubblefield (Bobby), Kassidy Barber, Matthew Nichols, Mark Nichols (Bayleigh), Luke Nichols, Ryan Nichols, Lorelei Nichols, Paul Thomas, Axel Thomas, Kyle Thomas, Lauran Thomas, Trey McCullough, Andrew, McCullough, Katie McCullough, Kara Sulejmani (Arbnon), and Alex McCullough; 7 great grandchildren, Carolina Fergerson, Bo Stubblefield, Jack Nichols, Brennyn Mae Nichols, Charlie June Nichols, Penelope Rose McCullough, and Jamie Elijah Thirkill; and longtime caregiver, Joyce Parsons of Bethpage.
