Ronald L. “Hippie” Corlew, age 78 of Gallatin, passed away on Saturday, January 14, 2023 at his residence.
He was born in Nashville to the late Garner C. and Vivian Rose (Daniel) Corlew.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his son, Allen Daniel “Danny” Corlew; son-in-law, Jamie Hines; and sister, Rosalyn Corlew.
He is survived by his wife of 56 years, Mary Ann Swafford Corlew of Gallatin; daughters, Rhonda Corlew Polston (Tim) of Bethpage, Rae Corlew Silcox (Brents) of Gallatin, Tammy Corlew Ross (Carl) of Port Orchard, Washington; grandchildren, Scott Hines (Megan), Millie Hines Davis (Chris), Mitchell Hines, Hunter Corlew, Bailey Silcox, and Brayden Silcox; great-grandchildren, Ayla Tuttle, Khloe Hines, Sophia Hines, and Baylen Hines; brothers, Gary Corlew (Trina) of Kingston Springs, Ray Corlew (LeEllen) of Cottontown, David Corlew (Carolyn) of Mt. Juliet, Steve Corlew of Bethpage; sister, Stephanie Corlew Parrish of Cottontown; numerous nieces and nephews.
Memorial service will be conducted on Sunday, January 22, 2023 at 3:00 P.M. from the chapel of Anderson Funeral Home. Visitation will be held on Sunday, January 22, 2023 from 1:00 P.M. until service time.
In lieu of flowers, donations are suggested to Anderson Funeral Home to help the family with funeral expenses.
