Ronald Everett Johnson, age 79 of Cottontown, Tennessee passed away on Sunday, November 20, 2022 at his home.
He was born September 2, 1943 in Nashville, TN to Everett Arthur & Lena Marie Friedli Johnson.
He worked as a tool and die maker until his retirement. He proudly served his country in the U.S. Army in Vietnam. Mr. Johnson enjoyed spending time outdoors, camping, hunting and fishing. He loved spending time with his family most of all.
He is preceded in death by his parents; infant son, Joshua Thomas Johnson; brother-in-law, Bob Griffiths.
He is survived by his loving wife of 58 years, Shirley Johnson; sons, Adam (Carrie) Johnson, both of Cottontown, TN and Scott (Tina) Johnson, White House, TN; sister, Evonne Griffiths, Hendersonville, TN; 4 grandchildren, Lillie, Colleen, Emily and Kailey; 4 great-grandchildren, Fallon, Sloane, Addison and June.
A graveside service and committal are scheduled for Wednesday, November 23, 2022 at 11am in Middle Tennessee Veteran’s Cemetery with military honors. There is no scheduled visitation.
