Ronnie placed his faith in Jesus Christ as a young boy and faithfully maintained his Christian testimony throughout his life. His faith remained a steady foundation and a source of strength to him and those who knew him.
Ronnie found joy in life’s simple pleasures. He had a deep appreciation for old cars and could spend hours admiring their craftsmanship, sharing stories, and reminiscing about the classics he loved. He was happiest when he was fishing, enjoying the quiet of the water and time spent with family and friends. Ronnie also had a knack for word search puzzles and rarely passed up the opportunity to sit down and solve one.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Ervin Daughtry and Lucille Daughtry; brother, James “Buck” Daughtry; and sister, Joyce Ann Keisling.
Ronnie is survived by his loving wife, Shirley Daughtry; children, Ronald “J.R.” Daughtry Jr. (Karen) of Gallatin, Tennessee, and Tina Rena Stafford (Kenneth) of Portland, Tennessee; siblings, Kenneth Daughtry (Annie) of Gallatin, Tennessee, and Nancy Thompson (Jimmy) of Portland, Tennessee; grandchildren, Kaitlin Warner (Derek), Erin Paige McCarroll (David), Allison Henson (Josh), Blake Stafford, and Brylee Stafford (Susan); and great-grandchildren, Harper Warner, Remington Warner, River Henson, Rhett Henson, Emerson McCarroll, Callen McCarroll, Audrey Stafford, Maverick Stafford, Marshall Stafford, Beau Stafford, and Luke Stafford.
