Roger Terry Brooks, age 62 of Portland passed away unexpectedly Friday, September 15, 2023 at Tri-Star Portland Hospital.
He was born August 16, 1961 in Springfield, TN to Kenneth A. & Ruth Annelle Henley Brooks.
He worked as a field supervisor for Tennessee Kentucky Sprinkler. Roger loved playing golf, riding Harley Davidson motorcycles, NASCAR, Tennessee Football, fishing at the lake house, sitting on the patio listening to the fish pond and spending time with his grandchildren. He was a member of McKendrie Methodist Church.
He is preceded in death by his father.
He is survived by his loving wife, Lisa Brooks, Portland, TN; step-daughters, Sarah (Ty) Lynch and Kelly (Adam) Binkley; mother, Ruth Brooks; brother, Kenneth R. Brooks, all of White House, TN; 5 grandchildren, Beckham, Blaine, Miller, Lewey and Braya.
A Celebration of Life gathering will be held Wednesday, September 20, 2023 4-8 pm at Austin & Bell Funeral Home in White House.
