Robert “Bobby” Leontì Johnson, age 60, of Portland, Tennessee, went to his heavenly home on Friday, January 17, 2025. He was born on August 15, 1964, in Murfreesboro, Tennessee, to his parents, Robert and Mildred Johnson.
As a young man, Bobby served in the United States Navy, from 1983-1988. Most recently he worked at Twice Daily of Gallatin; he loved his job and his customers. Bobby never met a stranger and was overjoyed to share his passion for his favorite sports teams, such as the San Francisco 49ers, Chicago Bulls, the Dodgers, and Alabama. Bobby also seized the opportunity to share about the goodness of God. He was an active member of Restoration Church, in Franklin, Kentucky.
Bobby was known for his zest of life and joyful spirit. He was always laughing and had a contagious smile.
His memory will be treasured by his family and friends, and he will be missed dearly. May he rest in peace.
Robert “Bobby” Leontì Johnson is survived by his loving wife of 14 years, Nicole (Hastings) Johnson; children, Callie Johnson, Travis Johnson, Shantè Johnson, Ra’Keely Johnson, and Chance Adams; grandchildren, Corbyn Turner, Maliyah Alton; mother, Mildred Johnson; sister, Phyllis Corder (Reggie); brother-in-law, James Hastings (Jenny); mother-in-law, Frances Hastings; nieces, Hannah Maynard (Smokey), Alyssa Kelly-Hastings; nephews, Marcus Wade (Maya), Michael Corder (Lauren), Monolito Wade (O’tasha), Cory Hastings (Kara), Seth Hall, James Hastings Jr., Liam James Kelly, Patrick Kelly-Hastings.
Visitation with the Johnson family will be held at Crestview Funeral Home, on Tuesday, January 21, 2025, from 10:00 A.M. until 12:00 P.M.
Elder Bobby Russell Sr. and Pastor David Crawford will be officiating the funeral service in honor of Robert “Bobby” Johnson, at 12:00 P.M.
Burial in Crestview Memory Gardens will immediately follow, those serving as pallbearers will be Michael Caruthers, Anthony Young, Phillip Herrin, Marcus Wade, Michael Corder, and Monolito Wade.
