Robert “Bob” Scruggs, age 88 of Gallatin, passed away on Monday, September 30, 2024.
Mr. Scruggs was born December 21, 1935 in McMinnville, TN to the late Robert Luther Scruggs, Sr and Lydia Katherine Scruggs.
In addition to his parents, he is preceded by wife, Jo Ann Williams Scruggs; and great-granddaughter, Lily Doss.
He is survived by daughters, Lea Willis (Edward) of Gallatin and Bobbie Jo Kulakowski of Gallatin; grandchildren, Brandy Doss, Brittany Hood (Jeremy), Ashley Hester (Kurtis), Jodi Jackson (Charles), Robert Wayne Ridgeway (Shannon), Alex Willis, Carmen Willis, and Kaitlyn Willis; and 13 great-grandchildren.
Mr. Scruggs proudly served in the United States Air Force, retiring after many years of service. After retirement from the Air Force, he was a Police Officer in Portland, TN, retiring after 12 years of service.
Funeral Service, with Military Honors, and visitation will be at Sellars Family Heritage at Gallatin, with date and times to be announced. Interment will be at Middle Tennessee Veterans Cemetery, with date and time to be announced.
