Ricky L. Cross, age 73 of Gallatin, Tennessee passed away on Thursday, February 9, 2023.
Mr. Cross was born October 16, 1949 in Red Boiling Springs to the late Alexander Cross and Donna Cherry Cross.
Mr. Cross served our country in the United States Army, as a paratrooper in Germany. He retired from Peterbilt after over 30 years of service. Ricky drove for Gray Line Tennessee after retirement from Peterbilt.
In addition to his parents, he is preceded in death by daughter, Kelly Cross; brother, Roy Allen Cross.
He is survived by wife of 50 years, Rita Vance Cross of Gallatin; daughter, Lori Cross Mitchell (Johnny) of Scottsville, KY; sisters, Evanelle Bazer of Florida, Lavonne “Monnie” Younan (Nabil) of Florida, Helen Personnett of Christiana, Rebecca Thomas Bennett of Christiana, and Michelle Cross of Nashville; and 8 grandchildren, Nicole Cross-Clark, Aiden Cross, Braxton Cross, Avery Cross, Alexis Cummins, Brieanna Cummins, Micah Cummins, and Vanessa Mitchell.
Funeral Service will be at 1:00 p.m. Thursday, February 16th in the chapel of Sellars Family Heritage at Gallatin, with Pastor Doug Colwell officiating. Visitation will be Wednesday, February 15th from 4:00 – 8:00 p.m. and Thursday, February 16th from 11:00 a.m. until time of service at 1:00 p.m. Interment will follow at Crestview Memory Gardens, with Micah Cummins, Jacob Vance, Eddie Vance, Keith Pedigo, Eric Pedigo, and Kimlee North serving as pallbearers.
