Richard Holt, age 64 of Gallatin, passed away Sunday, October 20, 2024.
Mr. Holt was born November 19, 1959 in Madison to the late Howard Lee Holt, Sr. and Joyce Ann Haraway Holt.
In addition to his parents, he is preceded in death by son, Justin Housewright; and sister, Pamela Adkisson.
He is survived by wife, Nancy Holt of Portland; children, Richard W. Holt of Bethpage, Scotty Holt of Portland, and Tasia Rittenberry (Chris) of Gallatin; brothers, Howard Lee Holt, Jr. (Penny) of Ashland City, Ronnie Lee Holt of White House, and Howard Eugene Holt of Portland; sisters, Wanda Jane Boshers (Terry) of Ashland City, Patricia Holt of Gallatin, and Vera Dale Quaranda (Rich) of Portland; and grandchildren, Christopher Holt, Brent Lee Holt, Samantha Holt, Blake Rittenberry, Madison Rittenberry, Ryder Rittenberry, Lydia Rittenberry, Eva Hessinger, Giana Housewright, Braden Healey, Zada Holt, and Christian Holt.
Funeral Service will be Thursday, October 24th at 2:00 p.m. in the chapel of Sellars Family Heritage at Gallatin. Visitation will be on Thursday, October 24th from 1:00 p.m. until time of service at 2:00 p.m. Interment will follow the service at Beech Cemetery, with Jason Denney, Ricky Holt, Scotty Holt, Thomas Denney, Bradley Groves, and Brandon Denney serving as pallbearers.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Sellars Family Heritage at Gallatin to assist the family with expenses.
