Rex Dewayne Reese passed away May 17, 2025 at age 70.
The Funeral Service conducted by Reverend Phillip Wilson will be held Thursday May 22, 2025 at 2 p.m.
The family will be receiving friends at the funeral home on Thursday from noon until service time.
Interment in Bradley Cemetery.
Pallbearers: Rocky Branham, Houston Branham, Adam Reese, Jason Reese, Trenton Reese, Thomas MacQuarrie and Kenny Branham.
Rex was born in Sumner County to Thelma Jean Thompson and Dewey Rex Reese.
He enjoyed his career at Crescent Furniture for 26 years before long-haul trucking for M&W Transport.
He loved his family, especially his grandchildren, and enjoyed reading a good book.
He loved history and loved telling stories about history.
He is survived by his wife of 51 years, Wanda Reese, daughter Sonya (Rocky) Branham of Gallatin, TN, mother Thelma Jean Reese, sister Donna Baldwin of Franklin, KY, and grandchildren Houston and Sydney Branham.
He is preceded in death by his son Michael Dewayne Reese, father Dewey Reese, brother Darrell Glenn Reese and his grandparents Dr. Whitton and Selma Reese and Bryson and Pauline Thompson.
