Raymond Williams, age 93, of Portland, passed away on March 31st, 2025 at Highpoint Health Sumner in Gallatin, TN. Mr. Williams was born in Goodlettsville, TN on August 27th, 1931 to the late Porter Williams and the late LouElla Parks Williams. Mr. Williams was a lifelong member of the Corinth Church of Christ and retired from Eaton Corporation after 35 years of service.
In addition to his parents, Mr. Williams was preceded in death by his brother, James A. Williams; sister, Martha Jane Whitson; nephew, David George Whitson.
Mr. Williams is survived by his sister, Lee W. Pearson of Flora, MS; nieces, Teresa Forbis, Marcia Whitson Scruggs, & Amber (Chris) Pearson May; & several great nieces and nephews.
Funeral service for Mr. Williams will be at 2:00 pm on Saturday, April 5th, 2025 at Wilkinson & Wiseman Funeral Home with Steve Hall & James Parker officiating.
Visitation for Mr. Williams will be on Friday, April 4th, 2025 from 11:00 am until 7:00 pm & on Saturday, April 5th, 2025 from 10:00 am until 2:00 pm at Wilkinson & Wiseman Funeral Home.
Interment will be at Crestview Memorial Gardens in Gallatin, TN with Army Military Honors.
Brandon Perdue, William May, Jacob Whitson, Johnny Scruggs, Brandon Forbis, & Jacob Schuessler will serve as pallbearers.
