Randall Riggs, born on November 15, 1948, in Nashville, Tennessee, passed away on January 10, 2025, after bravely battling Parkinson’s disease. He was a devoted husband, father, and grandfather, who cherished his family deeply.
Randall dedicated over 30 years of his life to driving for UPS, a career marked by hard work and reliability. His commitment extended beyond his profession; he also proudly served in the Navy, demonstrating dedication to his country.
A graduate of Madison High School, Randall fostered a love for the outdoors and spent his leisure time traveling, collecting, and creating unforgettable memories with his grandchildren. He will be remembered not only for his passions but also for his generous spirit, having contributed to numerous charitable organizations throughout his life.
Randall is survived by his son, Jason Riggs (Claudia); his daughter, Kristina Williams; his son, Tim Riggs; his sisters, Laura Riggs-Mitchell (Ray) and Marie Graves; his beloved grandchildren, Chelsea Riggs, Marion Williams, Mariah Williams, Grayson Riggs, and Jordan Riggs; and his great-grandchildren, Jessalyn Marie-Riggs Dillard, Braelyn Grace Dillard, Layla Faye Price, and David Abram Price.
He was preceded in death by his beloved wife, Carolyn Riggs; his son, Jeff Riggs; and his parents, Raymond and Eunice Riggs.
Visitation will be held at Hendersonville Funeral Home (353 E. Main St., Hendersonville, Tennessee 37075) from 3:00 PM to 7:00 PM on January 16, 2025, and again on January 17, 2025, from 1:00 PM to 2:00 PM. Guests need to be advised that there may be traffic on the west side of Hendersonville due to a procession for a first responder. Please plan to use alternate routes (Vietnam Veterans Parkway to Indian Lake or Vietnam Veterans Parkway to Saundersville Road).
