Rachel Thurman, age 59 of Lafayette, passed away on Thursday, November 14, 2024. Funeral Service will be on Tuesday, November 19th at 4:00 p.m. in the chapel of Sellars Family Heritage at Gallatin, with Bro. Denzel Cherry officiating. Visitation will be on Tuesday, November 19th from 10:00 a.m. until service time at 4:00 p.m. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Sellars Family Heritage at Gallatin to assist the family with expenses.
Mrs. Thurman was born on January 10, 1965 in Bethpage to the late Dan Williams and Eva Nell Johnson Williams. In addition to her parents, she is preceded in death by husband, Rodger Thurman; and daughter, Teisha Thurman. She is survived by daughters, Tasha Barrientos (Alfonso) of Gallatin and Maranda Garcia-Martinez (Junior) of Nashville; brothers, Randy Kemp (Nikki) of Castalian Springs and Danny Williams (Teresa) of Hartsville; sister, Beverly McCreary (Mike) of Castalian Springs; grandchildren, Cody Colter (Allison), Brian Colter (Chloe), Justin Colter, Adriana Vielma, Liliana Vielma, Fabian Vielma, Josue Vielma, Sofia Perdomo, and Xavier Martinez; and great grandchildren, Elijah Colter, Oakland Colter, Christopher Colter, Emma Colter, and Angel Vielma.
