Mr. Patrick Meurer, age 82, was born on June 2, 1940, Garfield, TX, and passed away on June 10, 2022, peacefully at home with Jean Hendersonville, TN.
Preceded in death by parents Joseph and Marguerite Meurer, brothers Paul, William, George, and sister Joanne Matthews.
Survived by his companion of 33 years, Jean Funderburk, brother JC, Bastrop, TX, and sister Rosemary Schulter, Danville, CA. Survived by son, Nicholas (Kristi) Meurer, and daughter Mia (Scott) Billingsley. Grandchildren, Joli Overstreet, Hope (Austin) Meurer, Joseph Meurer, Kelsey Norman. Great-grandchildren, Brayden Overstreet, and Bennett Overstreet. Former wife Donna Meurer and numerous nieces and nephews. Special Extended Family, stepson, Eric (Velma), grandchildren, Robert and Jordan; great-grandchild, Montgomery Funderburk.
Patrick was a US Army Vietnam Veteran. He retired from Ford Motor Plant and was a founding member of Our Lady of the Lake Church. He was a devout Christian and loved the Lord.
Visitation is Thursday, June 16, 2022 from 5:00 – 8:00 p.m. at Hendersonville Memorial Gardens. Funeral Mass is Friday, June 17, 2022, at 11:00 a.m. at Our Lady of the Lake Church. https://www.hendersonvillefh.com
