Patricia Ann Atkinson, age 76, of Bethpage, passed away on October 23, 2022 at St. Thomas West in Nashville.

Mrs. Atkinson was born on November 10th, 1945 in Portland, TN to the late Hershel Glenn Legge and the late Clara Estel Buntin-Legge.

In addition to her parents, Mrs. Atkinson was preceded in death by her sisters, Kay Legge, Bonnie Briley, & Margaret Hall.

Mrs. Atkinson is survived by her devoted husband of almost 26 years, Walter B. Atkinson, Sr., daughters, Lisa (Kevin) Pearson of Lafayette & Connie (Mark) Harrison of Portland; son, Joey (Nikki) Hardin of Portland; stepdaughter Jera Lynn (Kevin) Atkinson-Huff; stepsons Walter B. Atkinson Jr., & William Warren (Sarah) Atkinson; grandchildren, Amanda Hobdy, Corey Hobdy, Kent Hargis, Courtney Hargis, Keylee Hargis, Diana Harrison, Trey Hardin, Raegan Hardin; Kiana Pearson, James Pearson; Camron Huff, Nathan Huff, Lucas Atkinson, Emme Atkinson, Chelsea Reed, Dylan Atkinson, Tyler Atkinson; twelve great-grandchildren; sisters Faye Mandrell & Evelyn Tucker; and brother, David Legge and a host of loving nieces and nephews.

Pat and Benny were married on December 11, 1997. It has been stated by many that Pat’s life became much easier when she met Benny. Pat actively attended CrossWins Church in Franklin, KY. She will be remembered as a selfless and giving person. She was a wonderful cook and loving “Granny”.

Funeral service for Mrs. Atkinson will be at 1:00 pm on Wednesday, October 26th, 2022 at Wilkinson & Wiseman Funeral Home with Ronnie Graves & Joey Hardin officiating.

Visitation for Mrs. Atkinson will be on Tuesday, October 25th, 2022 from 3:00 pm until 8:00 pm and on Wednesday, October 26th, 2022 from 10:00 am until 1:00 pm at Wilkinson & Wiseman Funeral Home. https://www.wilkinsonwiseman.com

Interment will be in Restlawn Memory Gardens.
