Orbin Curtis Duffer, age 82, of Westmoreland, TN, passed away July 31, 2026. He was born October 26, 1943 to the late Bernice W. Duffer and Mae Bell Sanders Duffer in Sumner County, TN.
Orbin was of the General Baptist faith and was saved by the grace of God many years ago. He was retired from Precision Industries in Maintenance. He was also a life-long farmer.
In addition to his parents, Orbin is preceded in death by his siblings, Wayne Duffer, Evelyn Tuttle and Wanda Barnard.
He is survived by his loving wife of nearly 59 years, Ann Jenkins Duffer; his children, Deanea (Tony) Wells and Jeff (Kim) Duffer, Anita and Freda Duffer; his grandchildren, Joshua Wells, Trenton (Tessa) Duffer and Alex Duffer (fiance’, Ana Garcia); his great-grandchildren, Bennett and Myles; as well as a host of extended family and friends.
Funeral services for Mr. Duffer will be conducted on Wednesday, August 5, 2026 at 11AM from the chapel of Woodard Funeral Home with Bro. Steve Johns and Bro. Chad Lambert officiating. Interment will follow in the Pleasant Grove Cemetery. The family will receive visitors on Tuesday, August 4th from 11AM till 8PM and again on Wednesday, August 5th from 9AM till service time at 11AM at Woodard Funeral Home.
