Nilah V. King, age 77 of Gallatin, passed away October 22, 2025.
The Funeral Service will be held in the chapel of Sellars Family Heritage at Gallatin on Monday, October 27, 2025, at 1 p.m. The family will be receiving friends at the funeral home on Sunday from 2-6 p.m. and again on Monday from 11 a.m. until service time. Burial will follow in Sumner Memorial Gardens.
Pallbearers: Brandon Bryant, Ian Ferguson, Brandon Withers, Chris Guiette, Casey Withers, and Jax Keith.
Nilah was born November 7, 1947, in Nashville, TN. She worked as a dog breeder for many years. She is survived by her sons Danny Withers (Jenny) of Chapel Hill and Mark Anthony Withers (Sandy) of Ashland City, brother Kenneth Keith of Gallatin, sisters Nelda Keith (Frankie Flatt) of Castalian Springs and Jeanette Ferguson (Steve) of Charlotte, grandchildren Kristina Withers, Brandon Withers, and Casey Withers, and one great grandchild, Hunter Blake Withers.
She was preceded in death by her husband Omer King, grandson Kyle Withers, sister Jackie Duke, and parents Jack and Madge Cherry Keith.
