Nicholas Alan Huddleston Obit

Nicholas Alan Huddleston, known to his friends as Nick, passed away in the early hours of Sunday December 7, 2025. He left this earthly plane in Gallatin TN with his mother and love of his life at his side.

Nick came into this world December 21, 1990 in Springfield TN. Born to his father Robert Wilson Huddleston, known as Bob or Bobby, and his mother Lisa Ann Gunter Oates.

He was preceded in death by his father Robert Wilson Huddleston “Big Bob” as well as his grandparents Wilene Sue Williams Gunter, Robert Earl Huddleston, and Carolyn Faye Frye Huddleston.

He is survived by the love of his life Kelly Lane, his mother Lisa Ann Gunter Oates (Pete), brother Brandon Huddleston (Kammy), sister Elizabeth Huddleston, sister Alexandria Mullins, grandfather William Allen Gunter, step-mother Candie Huddleston and step-grandparents.

He was a graduate of White House Heritage High School and received his bachelor’s degree from Nossi College of Art and Design.

A fan of video games, Marvel, DC, Star Wars, and especially Mortal Kombat. He reached many in the Mortal Kombat community with his magnificent fan art related to that franchise.

He made a career as a freelance artist, working in a multitude of styles. Creativity was the heartbeat of who he was and in addition to creating art he played piano, guitar, and sang. Nick was such a light in every life he touched. He was a true artist and creative soul. Nick was always ready with a joke, an accent, an impression, or a song. He had a way of knowing when someone needed cheering and quickly brought a smile to their faces. He had one of the biggest hearts you’ll ever meet, always caring for others and helping friends in need; selfless and loving to the core.

A friend shared the quote “Creativity is the spark of the soul, and a glimpse of the beauty we carry within and the light we give to others.” Nick’s spark shone like a lighthouse, bringing joy and light to everyone he met. You could not miss the beauty in his heart and that light will continue to shine in the hearts of all who knew him.
