Nannie Louise Berry, age 93, went home on July 24, 2025 to be with her Lord and Savior. Mrs. Berry was affectionately known to some as “Nannie.” She was born in Joelton, Tennessee and moved to Hendersonville in 1970, where she lived until her passing.
Louise was known to many for her love of cooking and always having her family and friends over to enjoy a good meal. Louise was preceded in death by her loving husband, J.W. of 75 years of marriage. She enjoyed helping others and was a good friend to many. She and J.W. were members of the Hendersonville First Baptist Church.
Louise leaves behind her children, Diane Kidd (Tim), Richard Berry (Karen), Vickey Albert (Kelly) and Kevin Berry (Susan Deering); her grandchildren, Dustin Kidd (Jazmin), Ryan Berry (Renee), Cameron Berry (Jessika), Josh Berry (Ginny), and Landon Albert. She also leaves behind 8 great grandchildren and one sister-in-law, Betty Lewis.
A Celebration of Life for Mrs. Berry will be held at 12 pm on the afternoon of Wednesday, July 30, 2025 at Hendersonville First Baptist Church Chapel with Bruce Chesser officiating. The visitation will be held from 11 am until 12 pm at the church. Pallbearers are as follows: grandsons Dustin Kidd, Ryan Berry, Cameron Berry, Josh Berry, Landon Albert, and son-in-law, Kelly Albert.
