Nancy Rose Curtis Reichardt was born on June 11, 1941 and passed away on August 8, 2022 following a long illness.

Born in Newbern, Tennessee, she moved to Hendersonville Tennessee as a young child. She graduated from Hendersonville High School and attended Middle Tennessee State University.

Nancy was preceded in death by her husband, George Reichardt.

She is survived by her son and daughter-in-law, David and Mary Catherine Sevier of Murfreesboro; her granddaughter Mary Saille Scott (Mamie) Sevier of Murfreesboro, as well as her brothers and sisters; Charles and Mickie Curtis of Gallatin, Elizabeth Senter of Hendersonville, Patti and Gary Corn of Hendersonville, and Emily and Billy Grisard of Hendersonville.

She was a member of First Baptist Church Hendersonville.

Nancy enjoyed working as a telephone operator, an office manager, and an administrative assistant as a young woman. She is best known as an interior designer and owner of the popular Village Shoppe for many years, and she enjoyed that successful career tremendously. She retired to The Villages, Florida, but returned to Hendersonville to be closer to family and friends.

Nancy enjoyed golfing, boating, Vanderbilt athletics, and spending time with friends.

The family would like to recognize the memory care staff of The Villages of Murfreesboro for their dedication and devotion to Nancy over the past four years.

Visitation will be held on Friday, August 19, from 12:00 p.m. to 2:00 p.m. at Hendersonville Memory Gardens with a private graveside service and interment to follow. https://www.hendersonvillefh.com

In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the Alzheimer’s Association.
