Nancy Lenora Dorris, age 71, of Portland, passed away on December 8th, 2025 at Highpoint Health-Sumner in Gallatin. Mrs. Dorris was born in Portland, TN on August 21st, 1954 to the late Hazel “Jack” Virginia Key & the late Lola Mae Whitson-Key.
In addition to her parents, Mrs. Dorris was preceded in death by her husband, Gary Dorris; granddaughter, Stephanie Ann Lenora Cooper; siblings, Shirley Shumake, Barbara Key, Margaret Dorris, George Key, Howard Key, Roger Key, Tommy Key, Lila Mae Key, Sue Gardner, & Frankie Key.
Mrs. Dorris is survived by her children, Mellisa Moore & Stanley Cooper Jr.; grandchildren, Lindsey Haddock, Stanley Cooper III, Dylan Cooper, & Rachael Cooper; great grandchildren, Addy Haddock, Gunner Haddock, Lyla Haddock, Walker Haddock, & Gracelynn Cooper; siblings, Billy Key, Mike Key, & Jane Williams.
Funeral service for Mrs. Dorris will be at 1:00 pm on Friday, December 12th, 2025 at Wilkinson & Wiseman Funeral Home with Alec Cort officiating.
Visitation for Mrs. Dorris will be on Thursday, December 11th, 2025 from 12:00 until 8:00 pm & on Friday, December 12th, 2025 from 10:00 am until 1:00 pm at Wilkinson & Wiseman Funeral Home.
Interment will be in Old Brush Cemetery in Portland, TN.
Cordell Haddock, Dalton Hunt, Jack Perry, Dylan Cooper, Cody Moore, & Kellan Moore will serve as pallbearers.
