Nadine H. Moore, age 88 of Gallatin, passed away on Thursday, September 5, 2024.
Mrs. Moore was born September 16, 1936 in Warren County to the late Stanley Herrington and Louise Stinson Herrington.
In addition to her parents, she is preceded in death by husband, Billy M. Moore.
She is survived by sons, Gordon Long (Grace) of Plano, TX and Jim Moore (Judy) of Gallatin; and grandchildren, Scott Moore (Susan), Chase Moore (Lindsey), Nathaniel Long (Lara), and Daniel Long.
Mrs. Moore worked for many years as an LPN Surgical Nurse. She was a faithful member of Impact Fellowship in Gallatin, Tennessee and was a volunteer for Veranda Ministries in Gallatin for ten years, volunteering for over 6,000 hours during that time. She was an avid reader and was affectionately known as “The Card Lady”.
Funeral Service will be Tuesday, September 17th at 1:00 p.m. in the chapel of Sellars Family Heritage at Gallatin, with Pastor Cecil Boswell officiating. Visitation will be Monday, September 16th from 3:00 – 7:00 p.m. and Tuesday, September 17th from 11:00 a.m. until time of service at 1:00 p.m. Entombment will follow at Sumner Memorial Gardens Mausoleum.
