Mr. Mitchell Day, better known as Junior, age 89, of Westmoreland, passed away Friday, May 10, 2024, at his residence, surrounded by his loving family.
Funeral Services for Junior Day are scheduled to be conducted on Monday, May 13, 2024, at 2 PM from The Millers Chapel General Baptist Church, with Reverend Billy Pete Freeman, Jr., Reverend Joe West, and David Simmons officiating. Interment will follow in The Millers Chapel Cemetery.
Visitation was at the funeral home on Saturday, May 11, 2024, from 5 PM until 9 PM, on Sunday, May 12, from 8 AM until 9 PM, and will be on Monday, May 13, from 8 AM until 12 PM. Visitation will begin at the church from 1 PM until service time at 2 PM. https://www.sellarsfh.com
Junior Day was preceded in death by his Parents, Sam Franklin Day and Bessie Beetle Barber Day; Sisters, Lillan Rollin and Dezma Hoskins; Brothers, Leonard Day and George Day; Son-in-Law, David Crowder; and Daughter-in-Law, Elaine Day.
