Mildred Ann Hesson Fuqua, age 88 of Gallatin, passed away on Tuesday, December 17, 2024.
Mrs. Fuqua was born March 14, 1936 to the late Hardy Brown and Zela Pryor Brown. In addition to her parents, she is preceded in death by Brian Kelley; husbands, J. C. Fuqua and Wayne Hesson; daughters, Kathy Sue Fuqua and Linda Fuqua Kelley; son, Gary Lee Fuqua; brother, Joe Brown; sisters, Betty Sue Gregory and Lori Crowder.
She is survived by son, Harold Fuqua (Debbie Roberts) of Gallatin; grandchildren, Randy Fuqua (Cheryl), Billy Fuqua (Marsha), Cindy Shannon (Ritchie), Gary Fuqua, Jr (Tosha), and Tiffany Fuqua; and great-grandchildren, Erin Fuqua Zirock (Chris), Ashlyn Fuqua (fiancé, Alec Steely), Cooper Fuqua, Taylor Shannon (fiancé, Spencer Hodge), Jacob Shannon, Madison Wallace, Alex Wallace, Chaben Fuqua, Chase Fuqua, Caleb Fuqua, Charlie Fuqua, Chloe Fuqua, Cheyanne Fuqua, Kane Fuqua, and Kaylee Fuqua.
Mrs. Fuqua was the owner of Fuqua Cab.
Funeral Service will be Thursday, December 19th at 2:00 p.m. in the chapel of Sellars Family Heritage at Gallatin, with Bro. Chris Rouse officiating. Visitation will be Wednesday, December 18th from 2:00 – 7:00 p.m. Interment will follow the service at Lower Bethpage Cemetery.
