Michael “Mike” Earl Tatum, age 82 of the Ford Branch Community in Macon County, TN passed away Thursday evening, April 2, 2026 at Centennial Medical Center in Nashville, TN. Mike is in the care of Anderson & Son Funeral Home in Lafayette, TN.
Funeral Services for Michael “Mike” Earl Tatum will be conducted Tuesday afternoon, April 7, 2026 at 2:00 pm from the chapel of Anderson & Son Funeral Home in Lafayette with Elder Richard Wilson & Elder Don Curtis officiating. Interment will follow in the Anderson & Son Memorial Park.
Visitation will begin Monday from 4:00 pm until 8:00 pm and again on Tuesday from 10:00 am until service time at 2:00 pm.
He is preceded in death by: parents, Bob & Hazel (Sexton) Tatum; brother, Phillip Tatum.
Survivors include: wife, Elaine Taylor Tatum of the Ford Branch Community; daughter, LaDonna Little & husband, Paul of White House; son, Michael Tatum & wife, YongOk of Songtan, South Korea; 3 grandchildren, Jonathan Swaffer & wife, Brittany, Angela Tatum & Justin Tatum; 2 great-grandchildren, Landon Swaffer & Harley Marlow; 3 step-grandchildren, Leah Brackin & husband, David, Pauline Coyne & husband, Brandon, Jacob Little; 3 step-great-grandchildren; brother, Robert “Pat” Tatum & wife, Lila of Coeur d’Alene, Idaho; sisters-in-law, Ann Driver of Lafayette, Ruth Gregory of Hendersonville, & several nieces and nephews.
