Martha-Elizabeth-Frensley

Martha Elizabeth Frensley, 88, of Hendersonville, passed away peacefully on January 30th, surrounded by her loving family.

The wife of Carl Frensley for 69 years, mother, grandmother, and great-grandmother, was loved and cherished by her family. She was a faithful member of Bible Baptist Church, the ministry her husband founded in 1969.

The daughter of Jesse and Elizabeth Lewis, who preceded her in death along with brother Tommy Lewis and grandchild Lee Waller, she is survived by her husband Carl, sister Jane (Jerry) Musgrave, daughters Carla Chambers, Marla (William) Waller, and Kim (James) McCammack, grandchildren Bryce (Kristin) Waller, Alec McCammack and Ali McCammack, and great-grandchildren Graham Waller and Nova Waller.

Accepting Christ at the age of seven, serving Him became the purpose for her life. God made her the perfect help meet to her pastor husband for more than 50 years. An accomplished pianist and organist, God used her musical talent for those many decades at Beacon Baptist, Bible Baptist and Berean Baptist churches. There could never be a more graceful and gracious servant of God.

She will be deeply missed by all who knew her. Our temporary loss is Heaven’s eternal gain.

Funeral services will be held on Friday, February 2nd at 11:00 AM from the chapel of Sellars Funeral Home at Hendersonville with Dr. Don Sisk and Pastor Aaron Snodderly officiating. Interment will follow the service at Mt. Olivet Cemetery with James McCammack, Alec McCammack, Butch Waller, Bryce Waller, Lonnie Musgrave, and Bryan Musgrave serving as pallbearers. Visitation with the family will be Thursday, February 1st from 5:00-7:00 PM and Friday, February 2nd from 10:00 AM until service time at 11:00 AM.

In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Bible Baptist Church Missions.
