Mark Mayhew, age 69, of Murfreesboro, Tennessee, went home to be with the Lord
on October 21, 2025.
Mark was a former pastor and a devoted member of Taylor’s Chapel in Murfreesboro.
His life was a reflection of faith, humility, and steadfast love for his family. Born to the
late Duane and Mercil (Evans) Mayhew, Mark carried forward their legacy of service
and compassion in all that he did.
He was married to his beloved wife, Angelia, for 46 years. Together they built a home
centered on faith, laughter, and enduring devotion. Mark was the proud father of two
sons, Robert and Jeremy, and a loving grandfather to Jonathon and Callie.
He is also survived by his loving siblings Allen, Linda, and David.
Mark found joy in the simple things — woodworking, fellowship, and spending time
with his family. His hands built more than projects; they built memories, comfort, and
connection.
He will be remembered for his gentle spirit, unwavering faith, and the quiet strength
with which he served others.
Funeral arrangements will be private.
