Marilyn M. Taylor passed away on Sunday, October 23, 2022, she was 86 years old.

Marilyn was born to Clyde F. (Jimmy) Miller and Nilla (Baker) Miller on October 1, 1936, in Old Hickory, Tennessee.

Marilyn was a giving and caring person. She loved growing a garden with her husband, cooking and baking for others, Southern Gospel Music, Singing, Crosswords, Reading, Spending time in the Fall at her home in Florida, but most importantly she loved her family and her “fur babies”.

Marilyn was a Pediatric Registered Nurse for 50+ years, a 24-year member of The Eastern Star (Hendersonville #477), in addition, a 41-year member of The First Baptist Church of Goodlettsville where she sang in the Adult Choir.

Marilyn is preceded in death by her loving husband of 54 years Ralph W. Taylor and her parents Jimmy and Nilla Miller.

She is survived by her loving and devoted daughter’s Laura Elizabeth Taylor and Jennifer Lynn Taylor; her long awaited, precious and cherished granddaughter Adelaide Grace Taylor who loved her Grammy to the moon and back; her best friend and sister Dianne (Gordon) Morehouse; sisters in law Ruth (Bobby) Gregory, Ann Driver, and Elaine (Michael) Tatum; in addition, she is survived by numerous nieces, nephews, extended family and friends, and her “fur babies” Allie, Charlotte, Gabbie, and Ellie Mae.

Visitation will be held on Tuesday, October 25, 2022, at Hendersonville Funeral Home from 4 pm-8 pm with an Eastern Star Service beginning at 7 pm. Services will be held on Wednesday, October 26, 2022, at 10 am with Rev. Lyle Larson officiating. Burial will follow at Hendersonville Memory Gardens. https://www.hendersonvillefh.com

In lieu of flowers, the family requests that donations be made to a charity of one’s choice in Marilyn’s name.
