Margie Lorene Browner passed away on March 9, 2026. Margie was born on May 5, 1929, to Orbie Wilson and Fleata Williams.
Margie is survived by her children: Jerry Hall of Gallatin, TN, Bill Smalling (Madeline) of New Jersey, Peggy Bass (Allen) of Portland, TN, and Charles Ray Browner (Juannita) of Portland, TN. One sister, Evelyn Woodard. Grandchildren include Daniel Smalling (Lori), Amanda Luther (Casey), Allie Smalling, Samantha Gurley (Jeff), Rocky Baskerville, Leann Taylor, and Jennifer Taylor, Tina Crowder (Bobby), Melissa Browner, Troy Browner (Teresa), Larry Anderson (Sue), Vicky Moser (Kirk), Jamie Love, David Leonard (Krista), Joseph Leonard (Christina), and Christine Follet’s (Jean Claude).
Great-grandchildren include Owen Luther, Corbin Luther, Gammon Luther, Emma Smalling, Copper Steelreath, and Emily Laurid.
She is preceded in death by her husband Thomas Browner, her parents, and one sister, Martha McDaniel, Marandy Barrett.
Margie was the last remaining Charter member of Longview Missionary Baptist Church. Margie loved reading, puzzles, and baking.
The services for Margie will be Visitation from 11:00 a.m. until the time of the service at 2:00 p.m. It will be at Sellars Family Heritage at Gallatin. Brother Danny Raines will be officiating the service. Family and Friends will be serving as Pallbearers.
