Margaret Elaine Nelson, age 91, of Gallatin, Tennessee, entered into rest on Tuesday, June 11, 2024.
She was born in Eveleth, Minnesota, on December 14, 1932, to her parents, Thomas and Marcella Benny.
She was married on June 20, 1959, to John Nelson. Margaret was a homemaker for her husband and children. She was a Christian woman, and dedicated member of Good Shepherd United Methodist Church, for many years.
She was a loving mother, grandmother, and sister in Christ, who will be dearly missed.
Margaret Elaine (Benny) Nelson is survived by her sons, Steve (Julie) Nelson, and James (Robin) Nelson; sister, Gail (Benny) Landor; granddaughter, Samantha Garcia; and four great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her husband, John Gerald Nelson; father, Thomas Raymond Benny; and mother, Marcella (Williams) Benny.
All funeral services will take place at Good Shepherd United Methodist Church (located: at 525 New Shackle Island Rd., Hendersonville, TN, 37075), on Saturday, June 22, 2024.
Visitation will be held from 12:00 P.M., until 1:00 P.M..
Reverend Regina Hall, will be officiating the memorial service in honor of Mrs. Margaret Nelson, at 1:00 P.M.. A reception will follow services in the fellowship hall. https://www.alexandergallatin.com
