Louise Farwell, age 99 of Hendersonville, formerly of Harrisburg Pennsylvania passed away on Monday, March 28, 2022 at her residence.
She was born in Aberdeen, Scotland to the late William and Walta (Bain) Beedie. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Joseph James Farwell; and a son, Brian Farwell.
During World War II, she served in the National Service Act in the United Kingdom, commonly referred to as the Civilian War Service, where she was an Inspector for the Spitfire aircraft.
She met and married Joseph James Farwell, who was serving in the United States Army as a cryptographer in England. When World War II ended, she was able to join him in the United States and start their family.
She is survived by her daughters, Aileen Farwell, Linda Toth, and her husband Andrew, Sheila Baranowski, and her husband Mark, Christine Copeland, and her husband Darryl; eleven grandchildren; ten great-grandchildren.
