OBITUARY: Louie Wayne Fuqua

Mr. Louie Wayne Fuqua, age 90, of Lafayette, passed away Monday, September 16, 2024, at Knollwood Manor.

Mr. Fuqua chose cremation and a Memorial Service will be announced by The Alexander Funeral Home at a later date.

Louie was preceded in death by Wife, Wilma Jean Nash Fuqua; Parents, Robert Addison Fuqua and Lavon Helen Cliburn Fuqua; Brother, Herbert Fuqua and wife, Delsie; Sister, Evelyn Smalling and husband, Gene; and Brother-in-law, George Palmer.

Louie Fuqua is survived by; Son, Tim Fuqua and wife, Laquita; Daughters, Melanie Garrett and husband, David, Monti Fuqua; Grandchildren, Rodney Wright and wife, Shelley, Jody Wright and wife, Alicia, Heather Langston and husband, Ross, Logan Garrett and wife, Erin, Joseph Fuqua, Lucy Garrett; Sister, Shirley Palmer; Brother, Jim Fuqua and wife, Ruth; Nine Great-Grandchildren and One Great-Great-Grandchild also survives.
