Livie Lloyd Cripps, age 93 of Hendersonville, Tennessee slipped into the arms of his Savior on August 3, 2026.
He was a loving husband, brother, uncle, and friend. He was a generous and hard-working man who loved and served the Lord and his family.
Lloyd was a faithful member of Faith Baptist Church for over 40 years where he served as a deacon and an usher.
He was preceded in death by his wife of 63 years, Jessie (Scott) Cripps; his parents, Livie L. Cripps and Pearl (Elledge) Cripps; and siblings, Ray Cripps, Carl Cripps, Hilda Cripps, Allene Keith, Opal Jones, Josephine Cripps, Opha Turner, Thomas Cripps, and Doris Rowland. He is survived by his sister, Corinne Clark and many special nieces and nephews.
The family wants to thank Mr. Bruce Jordan for his love and support over the past several years. Since the passing of Mrs. Cripps, his help has been so appreciated and Mr. Cripps loved him like family.
The family also wants to thank the sitters who cared for Mr. Cripps during his last weeks.
Visitation with the family will be on Monday, August 10, 2026 from 12:00 P.M. until service time at 2:00 P.M. in the Chapel of Sumner Funeral & Cremation Lakeside in Hendersonville. Interment will follow in Hendersonville Memory Gardens.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Faith Baptist Church, 1602 N. Gallatin Road, Madison, TN 37115.
