Linda Kay Bates, age 78, passed away on January 21, 2023. She was born on January 1, 1945 in Anderson, Indiana.
Linda is preceded in death by her husband, Dean Edward Bates and daughter, Tamra Lynn Bates.
Linda is survived by her children, Candy Shaffer (Joe), Chris Bates, Cari Pedigo, Teri Halpin, and Cindy Wilson; grandchildren, Mindy Shaffer Perkins (Martin), Nathan Pedigo, Kara Pedigo, Thomas Halpin III, Trenton Wilson, Shelby Wilson and Peyton Wilson; and beloved cat, Mellany.
Linda enjoyed cooking shows, walking in the park, shopping, and eating out with her family. She is especially remembered for the unconditional love she had for her children and grandchildren.
Visitation will be held on Tuesday, January 24, 2023 from 5:00 p.m. – 8:00 p.m. at Hendersonville Funeral Home. Funeral Service will be held on Wednesday, January 25, 2023 at 1:00 p.m. with visitation held one hour prior to the service at Hendersonville Funeral Home.
