Mr. Leraly G. Jones, age 84, of Lafayette, passed away Wednesday, May 21, 2025.
Funeral Services for Leraly Jones are scheduled to be conducted on Saturday, May 24, 2025, at 11 AM, from The Chapel of Alexander Funeral Home with Elder Dean Dyer officiating. Interment will follow in The Eulia Cemetery.
Visitation will begin at the funeral home on Friday, May 23, 2025, from 11 AM until 9 PM and on Saturday from 8 AM until service time at 11 AM.
He is preceded in death by his Wife, Marion Ann Butcher Jones; Grandson, Jonas Jones; Parents, Neal Jones and Myrtle Dickens Jones; Father and Mother-in-law, Wilford and Georgia Mae Butcher; Brothers, Tim Jones, Doris Jones and wife, Sue, and Doile Jones; Sister, Betty Duty and husband, Lee; Brothers-in-law, Jerry Butcher and wife, Micki, Paul Butcher and wife, Becky, and Ricky Butcher; and Sister-in-law, Carolyn McPeak and husband, George.

Jones is survived by; Daughter, Jennifer Wix and husband, Barry; Son, Timothy Jones; Grandchildren, Latasha Johns and husband, Zach, Chanley Wix, Jeremy Jones, Markita Taylor and husband, Matthew; Brother-in-law, Derrick Butcher; Sister-in-law, Sharon Haskins and husband, Gary; Great-Grandchildren, Klein Johns, Lux Johns, Michael Butcher, Maylea Butcher, Graylen Taylor, Reina Jones, Aiden Jones, Jonah Jones; Numerous nieces and nephews also survive.
