Leon Anthony Locke, age 83 of Gallatin, Tennessee passed away on Saturday, February 25, 2023.
He was born in Hamtramck Michigan on August 3, 1939 to the late Leon M. and Irene Bush Locke.
Leon is survived by his wife of nearly 58 years, Bettye Bass Locke. He is also survived by their daughters, Evie (Matt) Clausen, and Lisa McClendon; sisters, Sally (Bob) Head, and Susan Koch; grandchildren, Kiernan (Jonathon) Parnell, Ian (Che) Clausen, Dana (Dany) Campos, Blythe (Alex) Logue, Stratton Clausen, Tiegan Clausen, Dalton McClendon, Aislinn Clausen, Emerson Clausen, Dakota McClendon, and Walker Clausen, six great-grandchildren, and many extended family members.
Leon never met a stranger, his warm personality and sense of humor made him a friend to all who knew him. He enjoyed being a Ham Radio operator in his spare time, and fishing was his favorite pastime.
Visitation will be at Crestview Funeral Home Thursday, March 2 from 4-7 pm, and Friday, March 3 from 10 am until service at 11 am with interment to follow at Sumner Memorial Gardens. https://www.crestviewfh.com
