Larry Wayne Bandy, age 83, of Portland, passed away on July 22nd, 2025 surrounded by his loving family.
Mr. Bandy was born in Portland, TN on February 6th, 1942 to the late Jasper Allen Bandy and the late Betty Elizabeth Choate Bandy. In addition to his parents, Mr. Bandy was preceded in death by his daughter, Betty Arlene Gomer and nephew, Jimmy Bandy.
Mr. Bandy is survived by his wife, Robbie Bandy; son, Wayne (Lisa) Bandy; grandchildren, Megan (Brandon) Frost, Anna Blair Bandy, & Dalton (Emma) Bandy; great grandchildren, Payton, Jeremiah, & Landon; & several nieces, nephews, & cousins.
Funeral service for Mr. Bandy will be at 3:00 pm on Sunday, July 27th, 2025 at Wilkinson & Wiseman Funeral Home.
Visitation for Mr. Bandy will be on Friday, July 25th, 2025 from 10:00 am until 8:00 pm & on Sunday, July 27th, 2025 from 11:00 am until 3:00 pm at Wilkinson & Wiseman Funeral Home. The family has requested no visitation on Saturday, July 26th, 2025 due to the Old Brush Ice Cream Supper and would like everyone to attend in honor of Mr. Larry Bandy.
Interment will be in Old Brush Cemetery. Dalton Bandy, Ike Shore, Greg Amick, Brandon Frost, Brennan Shore, Josh Pike, Roger Bandy, Terry Bolding, & Tony Bolding will serve as pallbearers.
