He is survived by his wife, Jan Patterson; children, Jason (Donna) Patterson, Janelle (Bryan) James and Jim Loos; grandchildren, Joey Glenn and Jenny Glenn; sister, Connie (Jim) Bryant.

Larry was a devoted father and a proud grandfather whose greatest joy came from spending time with his family. He was always willing to lend a helping hand, share a story, or offer words of encouragement. His love and guidance will remain with those who knew him.

An avid outdoorsman, Larry found peace and happiness in nature. Whether exploring the outdoors, enjoying the beauty of the changing seasons, or spending time outside, he appreciated the simple gifts that life had to offer. He also had a passion for photography and possessed a remarkable ability to capture life’s special moments and the beauty of the natural world through his camera lens.

Larry will be remembered for his quiet strength, generous heart, and deep appreciation for family, friends, and the outdoors. His memory will live on in the countless photographs he took, the stories he shared, and the lives he touched.

He will be deeply missed by his children, grandchildren, extended family, and many friends. Though he is no longer with us, his love, wisdom, and the memories he created will remain in the hearts of all who knew and loved him.

A Celebration of Life Service will be held on Saturday, August 1st at 1:00 PM from the chapel of Sellars Funeral Home at Hendersonville with Pastor Willie Acevedo officiating. Visitation for family and friends will be at the funeral home on Saturday, August 1st from 11:00 AM until service time at 1:00 PM.

In lieu of flowers, the family encourages everyone to honor his memory by spending time with loved ones, enjoying the beauty of nature, or capturing a special moment through a photograph-just as Larry would have done.
