Lana S. Arnold age 74, passed away on Wednesday, October 18, 2023.
Lana was born on November 14, 1948, to M. Paul Guthrie and Vivian B. (Tucker) Guthrie in Nashville, Tennessee.
Lana was an active member of Hendersonville First Baptist Church. She was involved with her Sunday School Class, volunteered for many groups within the church, and as a professional hairdresser, she cut and styled hair for those in need.
She was most proud of being a part of the “Back Pack” and “Feed Sumner groups, which helped feed the hungry. Lana loved God, lived for her faith, was willing to help others; but did it with a “spunky” attitude. Her love and spirit will be missed.
Lana is preceded in death by her parents and her husband Danny Arnold.
She is survived by her son Roman (Brenda) Arnold, daughter Amy (Mike) Paseur, brothers Paul (Freda) Guthrie, and Larry (Teena) Guthrie as well as numerous nieces, nephews, and extended family. In addition, she is survived by her companion Tuco.
A visitation will be held from 10 am-12 pm on Wednesday, October 25, 2023, at Hendersonville First Baptist Church. A Celebration of Life will begin at 12 pm with Bruce Chesser officiating. https://www.hendersonvillefh.com
