Ken served in the United States Navy aboard The USS Coral Sea and The USS Constellation aircraft carriers during the Vietnam War. He continued to serve his country as a federal civil service employee. He served as Facilities and Logistics Coordinator on military facilities in Memphis, TN, and Pensacola, FL for the remainder of his career.

Ken was many things to many people. We most cherish his role as a devoted husband, father, and grandfather. He was a very simple man with many wonderful qualities. He often let his actions speak louder than his words. First and foremost, he loved his wife well. He lived that love out loud for 55 years. He taught us to befriend others, be a good neighbor, work hard, be true to your word, notice everyone and extend a helping hand whenever possible. We will forever cherish this very good man. Our lives are forever impacted by the life he lived.

In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations made payable to First Baptist Church Portland. All donations will be remitted to TN Baptist Children’s Home.
