Mrs. Kathy Lou Cliburn Meador, age 72, of The Rocky Mound Community of Macon County, passed away on Wednesday, January 8, 2025. Funeral services for Kathy Meador are scheduled to be conducted on Friday, January 10, 2025, at 11 AM from The Chapel of Alexander Funeral Home with Elder Anthony Hale and Elder Jackie Stagner officiating. Interment will follow in The Long Creek Cemetery.
Visitation will begin at the funeral home on Thursday, January 9, 2025, from 2 PM until 9 PM, and on Friday, from 8 AM until service time at 11 AM.
Family requests donations be made towards The Long Creek Cemetery.
She is preceded in death by her Husband, Barry Wayne Meador; Parents, Almer Raydean Cliburn and Attis Marie Freeman Cliburn; and Sisters, Rebecca Butcher and Melinda Dixon.
Kathy Meador is survived by;
Daughters,
Samantha Wood and husband, Jerry
Charlene Gregory and husband, Mike
Darlene Whitlow and husband, Neal
Regina Anderson and husband, David
Brandy Nichols and husband, Bryan
Thirteen grandchildren and twenty-one great-grandchildren also survive.
