Kallahan “Kallie” June Dunlap, age 22 months, passed away on Tuesday, August 8, 2023.
Kallie was born on October 4, 2021, in Nashville, Tennessee to Drew and Angel Dunlap.
Kallie was a tornado, full of life, with a spunky spirit. The moment she heard music playing she would dance her little heart out.
She loved her handmade small shop outfits and her “pretties” (Simply Stacked bracelets) so much. She was also a camera hound loving to model for different clothing small shops.
Kallie loved sharks! She loved Shark Week and watching her favorite ‘fish” movie, Finding Nemo. Her favorite stuffy was “Crab” the crab. On a recent vacation, with the windows down in the truck, Kallie threw Crab out of the window resulting in her dad having to pull over and run down the interstate to retrieve Crab. Her spirit and laughter will never be forgotten.
Kallie is survived by her loving parents Drew and Angel Dunlap; twin older sisters Stella and Ryleigh; along with her baby sister Holland. She is also survived by her paternal grandparents Jim and Marilyn Dunlap, maternal grandparents Barry and Sabrina McCurry, paternal grandfather Shawn Cole; great-grandmother Mary Virginia Fuqua, great-grandparents Bobby and Kay Brewington, Doug and Opal Matthews, Lloyd and Glenda Morgan, and Tony and Wilma Tarkington.
In addition, she is survived by her great Aunt Donna Bilbrey, great uncle Donny Dunlap, great uncle Raymond and Sue Dunlap, godmother Liz Sloan, Uncle Adam and Kelsea McCurry, Matthew Cole and Aunt Kayla Cole; and a host of loving friends and extended family.
Visitation will be held on Sunday, August 13, 2023, at Hendersonville First Baptist Church from 1 pm-3 pm. A funeral service will begin at 3 pm. https://www.hendersonvillefh.com
