Judy Lynn McMurtry of Portland, Tennessee passed away on Sunday, March 6th, 2022, at her residence in Portland, she was 60 years old.
Mrs. McMurtry was born in Portland, TN on March 11th, 1961, to the late Robert Norman McMurtry & the late Evelyn Joan Shanklin McMurtry.
In addition to her parents, Mrs. McMurtry was preceded in death by her stepfathers, Donald Wakefield & Earl Briley; brother, Kenny McMurtry, sister, Kathie Peden; niece, Kim Meadors.
Mrs. McMurtry is survived by her son, Johnathan (Shelley) Freeman of Christiana, TN; grandchildren, Connor & Parker Freeman; siblings, Vickie (Jerry) Haden, Bobby (Joyce) McMurtry, Nancy Freeze, Tony (Rita) McMurtry, Ronnie (Karen) McMurtry, & Cinda (Bill) Petty.
Mrs. McMurtry was a loving mother, “Grams”, daughter, and sister who was fiercely devoted to family. She was and continues to be a true light in this world.
The family of Mrs. McMurtry has chosen cremation. Her family invites you to celebrate her life at White House General Baptist Church on Saturday, March 19th at 2:00 PM.
