John Holton, of Hendersonville, passed away on September 15, 2024.
He was preceded in death by his parents Dillard and Lillie Holton; sister-in-law, Anita Davis; brother-in-law, Robert Davis.
He is survived by his wife, Paulette Holton; daughters, Sherri Post (Mike) and Lynn Saylors (John); son, Martin Holton (Traci); grandchildren, Ethan Post, Amelia Post, J.T. Saylors and Jaclyn Saylors; cousins, David Wilson (Anne) and Daniel Wilson; nieces, Donna Davis Vardell, Gail Davis Brewer and Casey Oldham.
John was a 1961 graduate of East Nashville High School. He was a member of IBEW Electrical Workers Local 429 for 55 years. Nothing made John happier than being with his family and friends.
His family wishes to express gratitude for the support given to John during his illness by close friends; Wayne Coleman, Joe Eatherly, John Tony Brown, Norman Odeneal and Bud Park.
There will be no public visitation or burial service.
