Joe Edward Jernigan Portland, Tennessee passed away on Saturday, May 28, 2022 at his residence, he was 89 years old.
He was born January 1, 1933 to the late Charles Edward Jernigan and Gladys Louise Watwood Jernigan in Portland, Tn.
Mr. Jernigan is survived by his wife Audrey Jernigan; son, Ted Jernigan(Rhonda); daughter, Kim Monday(Jay); grandchildren, Chris Jernigan(Emily), Justin Jernigan(Kaitlin), and Mallory Monday; sisters, Jean Briley and Kay Hackett(John); great-grandchildren, Stella Jernigan, and Emilia Jernigan.
There will be a graveside service on Monday, May 30, 2022 at Maple Hill Cemetery at 11 a.m.; with visitation on Sunday, May 29, 2022 from 2 until 8 p.m. at Wilkinson Wiseman Funeral Home.
Serving as pallbearers will be his son, Ted Jernigan; son-in-law Jay Monday; grandsons Chris Jernigan and Justin Jernigan.
