Mrs. Joe Ann Durham, age 89 of Portland, Tennessee passed away Tuesday, August 12th, 2025 at High Point Health in Gallatin, TN.
Mrs. Durham was born on January 21st, 1936 in Westmoreland, Tennessee to the late Vernon Graves and Maggie Lois Wix. In addition to her parents, she is preceded in death by her husband, Elmer D. Durham; daughter, Twila Wall; great grandson, Lucas Blankenship; step father, Willie Phelps; step mother, Beatrice Graves; brothers, JR Graves and Clyde Graves; sister, Bonnie Henderson; brother in laws, Gene Heath, Elwood E. Durham and Cooper Henderson; sister in law, Ella Graves; step brother, Randall Perry and his wife, Jane.
Mrs. Durham is survived by her children, Tonopah Smith, Tammy Loveall (Barry), Thomas Durham, and Tracy Durham; grandchildren, Suzie Troutt (Kelley), Bryan Loveall (Ellie), and Samantha Nixon; great grandchildren, Alexander Loveall and Evey Loveall; sister, Betty Heath; half sisters, Shirley Clark, Carol Bentle (Tony) and Shelby Hall; very special friend of many years, Jana Brown (Aaron); and many nieces and nephews.
A memorial service to celebrate Mrs. Joe Ann’s life will be announced at a later date.
