Jimmy Vickers Stewart, age 78, of Portland, passed away on January 18th, 2024 at Tristar Hendersonville Medical Center.
Mr. Stewart was born in Franklin, KY on November 23rd, 1945 to the late Thomas Alfred Stewart & the late Estelle Dicey Poole.
In addition to his parents, Mr. Stewart was preceded in death by wife, Jewell Stewart; siblings, Mike Stewart, Diane Dozier, Marie Turley, & Wayne Stewart.
Mr. Stewart is survived by children, Jimmy Allen (Amy) Stewart of Cottontown, Joe Stewart of Portland, & Denise (Mike) Beedles of Ft. Lauderdale, FL; 11 grandchildren; 12 great-grandchildren.
Funeral service for Mr. Stewart will be at 2:00 pm on Saturday, January 27th, 2024 at New Hope Baptist Church in Portland, TN with Bro. James Johnson, Bro. Michael Stewart, Bro. Dennis Page, & Michael Butler officiating.
Visitation for Mr. Stewart will be on Thursday, January 25th, 2024 from 2:00 pm until 8:00 pm at Wilkinson & Wiseman Funeral Home, on Friday, January 26th, 2024 from 2:00 pm until 8:00 pm at Wilkinson & Wiseman Funeral Home, and on Saturday, January 27th, 2024 from 12:00 pm until 2:00 pm at New Hope Baptist Church. https://www.wilkinsonwiseman.com
Interment will be in Old Brush Cemetery.
