Jimmy K Pettie 73 years of age was born March 13, 1951 in Niles, MI, passed from this life at home in Gallatin, TN surrounded by family and loved ones.
Jimmy proudly served 13 years in the United States Army and Army National Guard. He married Deloris Myers on August 24, 1985 in Tampa, FL.
Jim worked for Cherokee Steakhouse and Marina for 20 years and Lakeside Stor-N- Loc for six years. Jimmy had 3 daughters, Tammy Myers, Heather Pettie, Ebony Pettie, and one son, Jimmy Pettie II all of Gallatin, TN.
Jimmy had seven grandchildren and one great grandchild.
Jimmy is preceded in death by his Father, Odis Pettie Sr – Dec. 1983; Mother, Isabelle Pettie – Feb 1999; Brothers, Thomas Pettie – Apr. 2000, Odis Jr Pettie – Dec. 1993, Joseph Pettie – Sep. 2012.
He is survived by his wife, Deloris Pettie; daughters, Tammy Myers, Heather Pettie, Ebony Pettie, and one son, Jimmy Pettie II all of Gallatin, TN; Sisters, Barb Pettie and Carol Benjamin both of Niles, MI; brothers Terry Pettie (Doree) of Niles, MI and, Kenny Pettie (Jess) of Adolphus, KY, bonus brother Andy Sarratore of Niles, MI, and several nieces and nephews.
A celebration of life will be held on a future date to be determined.
